About
As I bury my face into my hands is a poetical digital story created at the beginning of the Russian–Ukrainian war. The work reflects on the emotional landscape of conflict and its traces in personal and collective memory.
Through fragmented narration and poetic rhythm, it explores grief, trauma, and endurance as psychological states inscribed in both body and voice.
Viewers have described it as a moment of beauty that emerges through sorrow, offering a pause for hope and solace during these difficult times.
The film seeks to transform personal emotion into shared reflection, continuing my research into space, memory, and affective imagination.

The world is crying and I don’t know if my outstretched hands are enough for consolation.

The world I observe today may be appearing to me for the last time
in its true appearance.
I feel its dignity.
I will remember you as such and in no other way.
