I
Noblest silences
are situated behind the backs of their most, loyal, protectors,
they dwell in their serenity and they keep the answers secret.
In order to meet again we don’t talk about tomorrow.
Our hesitations are velvety.
Do not tell me the answer, do not speak a word.
Before me I see fireflies hiding in the small crevices.
Most, sensual, intimacies.
In the interspace of two leaves even the rustling becomes a melody.
I recognize all the shades of the green color just as the moss on the rain that I’m touching at the same time.
In my memories I remember all the colors, and even if they fade,
I come to the same place,
and…
keep my eyes open.
I allow this almost sacred place
to entwine the function of my imagination, memory and perception into one.
II
At first glance, all you can notice is dreamy silence, as if you can clearly hear
your own thoughts, that are reminiscing, location: unknown.
Every photograph resembles an unfinished story, that blends perfectly into a collection of mesmerizing postcards from your private collection where you hide …
nostalgia.
III
Nostalgia is reflected in all those steps back.
In all those moments when you reach the edge of the cliff, she reminds you that it’s not time to jump.
Nostalgia is your perfect thought that brings you back to the softness of time.
And now is September, that time of the year I enjoy the most.
Pretending that I’m not waiting for your letters, even I’m trying to recreate your image by imagining the sound of your words.
They put me in my place, just like this game, which I’m playing on my own, thinking what will be your next move.
Imitating life
and
standing here,
in the midst of autumn and summer, somewhere, in between.
Don’t forget to write me.
IV
All of the spaces that captured my attention,
I translated into an image by fantasizing about them, in a way that I have integrated my thoughts into their walls and surfaces.
I remember those spaces now as unseen realities, that I have indeed seen once.
I wondered if, by creating this photograph, I give these
lonely spaces a feeling of inner immensity.
I only wasn’t sure whether I had
been, at that time, inside the building, or in front?
It doesn’t really matter.
What I am certain, is that I will remember this image, every time again, in a different
way.
V
Even though we may have never seen these spaces, we can still feel them so
intensely as we are in the same time becoming a part of collective nostalgia,
that is evoken, from those never seen postcards.
We couldn’t picture neither one of our feelings more accurately.
Miraculous.
Miraculous.
Miraculous.
Trying to get accustomed to different views – I find myself paused in a blink.
