The world I observe today may be appearing to me for the last time
in its true appearance
I feel its dignity
I will remember you as such and in no other way
I’m lying, trying to preserve the truth which I can handle.
The world is crying and I don’t know if my outstretched hands are enough for consolation.
I bury my face into my hands and I disappear
from a world that can no longer sing
a world that is now roaring so loud
The world is bound by pain, and there is nothing you can do about it,
little man.
The world is crying and I don’t know if my outstretched hands are enough for consolation.
When at some point I return to reality
I see that I have left hope in all those places where I can’t find it anymore
Still, I walk,
helpless, caring a body that is pulling these heavy thoughts
And I walk,
And I continue
I walk, to sober up from this dream that I never want to be dream of again.
and I walk
and I continue
The world is crying and I don’t know if my outstretched hands are enough for consolation.
Wars are unstoppable
they begin at the same time as they end
They establish construction and demolition,
They activate trauma
and repeat
and repeat…
The world is crying and I don’t know if my outstretched hands are enough for consolation.
Everything of today is a reminder of yesterday
all tomorrows are talking about today which again is again talking about yesterday
Tomorrow, today, yesterday…
Still, hope is stronger than fear.
